On Air TV coercing the elderly into signing contracts blindly withholding vital information

Good Afternoon, My aunt has had the worst experience with OnAir Tv.She is a pensioner who was approached by On Air agents, offering a decoder ,they with held vital information from her, information which could’ve helped her make an informed decision on whether to sign the contract with them or not. She later learned that she can’t use the decoder without a Wi-Fi connection…and she doesn’t have Wi-Fi ,can’t even afford it on her pension money. The elderly woman didn’t even know what Wi-Fi is!!! She then requested me to assist in resolving the matter…they’ve been sending me from pillar to post and when she finally got a little airtime to call them, they insist on asking her to pay an additional R400 cancellation fee…meanwhile she already paid R200 when the On Air agent gave her the decoders…hhey are telling her that tshe is forfeiting R200 and insists she pays the R400.Now this elderly woman who has just been discharged from the hospital is experiencing extreme stress and get BP has sky rocketed because of this issue. I don’t understand how the OnAir agents can coerse elderly people into signing contracts without disclosing vital information. I contacted them persistently requesting a reference number for this query to date I still haven’t received it.Instead they are maintaining their stance on the R400 payment for a decoder she didn’t even y use. I need the public to know what On Air tv is doing out there to our elderly vulnerable communities who don’t even have the command of the Queen’s language. My communication to them: Please cancel Elizabeth Violet Mazibuko’s contract which was signed under with held information by your agents. ID *** DOB: 10 April 1953 Decoder: TA - 2021/2903 MAC: *** SN:MD ***8

I’ve sent an email outlining the unpalatable action of your agent

Action this request immediately with the urgency it deserves
