ON AIR - PATHETIC SERVICE

I recently purchased a DSTV Explora decoder, it was a telephonic sale.The company that contacted me was ON AIR. I recently also found out that ON AIR is subcontracted to Multi Choice . I am not at all happy with the service provided by one of the ON AIR consultants. Her sales pitch was very misleading. She didn't tell me that there is an additional R90.00 per month on my package which is for using the recording feature. The consultant confirmed that my monthly instalment would be that of R120.00 only. It was only at the time when the installer came to install that he advised that I would now need to pay R90.00 per month if i wished to use the record feature. She also misinformed me that i would be able to download off showmax and save the movies on my explora to watch later. This was one of the reasons i opted for this package and that is to be able to download and save off showmax. I was only informed that this information was incorrect when i called into customer care. I am totally dissatisfied with the blatant dishonestly of the ON AIR consultant . The situation now is that i am stuck with a 24month contract for which i am paying monthly instalment for which i did not agree nor budget for, the ON AIR terms and conditions state that you can not cancel the contract without paying a hefty cancellation fee, This i feel is rather unfair on me because they didn't sell me what i asked for. In my opinion Multichoice should not be affiliated with such unprofessionalism. This is the worst company to do business with!!!
