Horrible customer service at onairTV
Last week I was contacted by two onair TV consultants who were very rude and Condescending.
The first consultant called me, made no effort to pronounce my name correctly. When I tried to reprimand her and inform her what she should have done before calling me she became defensive and informed me I am in no position to educate her (about pronouncing my name correctly).I cut the call as this consultant was rude and felt that she could talk to me any how as I also was irate and resolved to also responding in kind.
I was then contacted by a second consultant who was trying to sweet talk me after the incident. He wanted to sell me the new explore decoder, when I informed him I am in no position to make financial commitment, he was doing his sales pep talk about not him mentioning price. I said to him,I know the product is not free regardless of him not mentioning price I will have to pay for services. At this point I have not finished my statement when he cut the call on my ear.
Now I am not sure if all customers are treated this way but I will not buy a product from sales consultants who are not able to speak to customers in a proper manner and who make no effort to have rapport with customers.Clearly they have not been trained well. As a sales consultant you should know that you are building a relationship with the customer, that relationship may not lead to a sale now but if it the foundation is good may lead to more business in future.
I would like to state that I have previously bought a device from donair TV and referred a colleague to onair TV.Given my last experience with the interaction I have had with these two consultants,I will be telling all my friends, relatives and colleagues to stay away from onairTV as they have no customer service.
Customer service is a key element when you offer products to consumers because this resonates with customers as they feel their needs will be taken care of.You do not show customers service to only your customers but also your potential customers have to experience it with every interaction you have with them. These are your moments of truth.
Sorry onairTV but you have lost me as a customer.
