Extremely Disappointed – Feels Like a ****

Last year, I was contacted by a sales representative from OnAir TV. After some consideration, I decided to proceed with their offer and received an Android box. Due to relocating, I only started using the device in January 2025, despite paying monthly since mid-2024.

From the very beginning, the box has given me endless issues. It constantly glitches — kicking me out of shows, randomly switching from Netflix to DSTV, or simply refusing to work. It’s impossible to enjoy uninterrupted TV time.

After sending multiple emails, I was eventually told to visit a DSTV branch for assistance. Once there, I was informed that the box is discontinued, and DSTV has nothing to do with OnAir TV. I was told OnAir must resolve it directly. I reported this back, and since then — radio silence. No help, no resolution, nothing.

Now here’s the kicker: I’ve been paying for a discontinued, dysfunctional product for over a year, with my contract only ending in 2026. The frustration is real, and the lack of service is unacceptable.

I’m demanding that OnAir TV collect this discontinued device, refund me for what I’ve paid, and cancel my contract immediately. I entered this in good faith, but it’s clear I’m being taken advantage of.

In my experience, this company operates with zero accountability and borderline *****ulent practices. I strongly advise others to stay away.

Reviewer Update
Follow-Up: Even Worse Than Before

After my initial review, OnAir TV contacted us and promised to send a new device, requesting that we return the old one. Despite informing them of our new address multiple times (at least 5), they repeatedly sent the courier to our old address. Out of pure frustration, we had to drive back to our old home to collect it.

We finally received the “replacement” device on Thursday — and to no surprise, it is faulty again. This box freezes constantly, won’t switch off, and is completely unusable. And just to make it clear — it is not my TV. My previous Android box before OnAir worked perfectly fine. The only reason we moved over was because of OnAir’s promise of more apps, but instead all we got was frustration, wasted money, and broken promises.

As I made clear in my previous review:
  • I want my contract cancelled immediately without further complications.
  • I want to be refunded for all the months I’ve already paid for devices that don’t work.

OnAir TV, your devices and service do not deliver on what you promise. At this point, this feels like nothing but a money-making scheme at the expense of customers. To anyone considering signing up — stay far away.
