Concern Regarding Unprofessional Conduct

The line manager was very rude to me. They asked for my ID number, and I refused to provide it over the phone for security reasons. When I asked them to authenticate themselves first, the manager told me I was “being too much” and said it’s not like they would marry me off to someone. I found this response unprofessional and inappropriate.
