Dissatisfaction Of Service Given

On the 2 February 2018 I was given a flyer at the traffic lights by some man. It was a flyer of a Moving Company. I decided to call them on ********** to for moving a small refridgerator from Glenvista to Braamfontein. I spoke to a lady called Thandeka who was very helpful and was able to organise the transportation of that item the same day @ R285. Time set was 13:45. She eventually called to let me know that the driver: Sibusiso was running late and came at 14:30. Sibusiso came alone and asked the security guard at my complex to assist him in moving the item from the Apartment to the bakkie. Sibusiso followed is behind as he was not sure of the place we were going to. On Hedeilberg Road, we witnessed Sibusiso getting out of the vehicle that was carrying the fridge to go to the back of it of which we had to wait for 5 minutes for him. When we got to the delivery place, Sibusiso appeared very anxious and was reluctant to take the R285 that Thandeka had instructed me to give to him. I had to insist that he take it. When we assessed the fridge, the freezer door was completely broken off its hinge, a black dent that looked like the fridge had been hit against something and wouldn't switch on. I immediately emailed Thandeka to let her know of the incident which she only rep**** to on Monday 05 February 2018 to let me know that Sibusiso was not on duty that day. On the 6th February 2018, I received an email from Thandeka that reads as follows:

"Good day,

Trust you are well,

Please note as per the driver he collected the fridge in good order and loaded it flat inside the truck, when he stopped he was checking if the canopy was locked.

As per the driver he delivered the fridge same way he collected it.

Attached is the delivery note signed in full (meaning the fridge was received in good order)."

First of all she totally dismissed my concern after spending 2days without replying to it and then finding out that Sibusiso had actually put the fridge flat in the moving truck which may have caused a gas leakage hence it would not switch on.

I would not recommend anyone to use that company for moving their furniture
