On Cloud shoes not as good...

I bought two pairs of On Cloud Monsters last year. In less than 6 month while traveling Europe, the shoes showed signs of damage on the top edge of the shoe. It happened to both pairs. We were forced to take one pair to a repair person as it was not going to last for the duration of the trip. On our return we have tried to take it back to the merchant and the request for replacement or to fix both pairs were denied. My Nike shoes I bought 5 years ago still looks brand new but the expensive On Cloud did not even last. I really like the shoes and I even have another trailer pair but with service like this, how can you promote a brand that disappoint you like this.
