Do Not Use This Company

My mom called out a plumber last year to do some work in her home and fit piping. These guys rocked up and proceeded to do the work, only after insisting that they follow her to the bank and she withdraw a cash deposit of R5000.00. They had to go through the roof to drain the geyser in order to fit the pipes. The confirmed that they had to remove and put roof tiles back on to the roof. They told my mom that the drip tray under the geyser had caved in by no fault of theirs and my moms home flooded. Once they had completed everything , they confirmed that everything had been correctly placed back and fitted and that there would be no issues. My mom then transferred the balance of the invoice and they left.

We have had leaking ever since in the house, but never prior to these plumbers coming out. We called the plumbers back to tell them that there is leaking and they never ever pitched up.

Due to the flooding, my mom had to claim from her insurance for her cupboards, carpets and ceilings.

When the ceiling people came to fit the new ceilings, they proceeded to tell my mom that they could not do the work as the roof tiles above the geyser were cracked and broken and the roof would leak and they would have to start the entire process again with the next rainfall.

My mom called the plumbing company back so that they could fix what they had broken above the geyser. They agreed to come on a specific day. Since then, the following has happened.

They did not pitch up on the agreed date on 3 separate occasions. The plumber sent text messages at 20:30 in the evening demanding a cash deposit clearing in his bank account otherwise he would not have money to buy materials.

Eventually they decided to come and replace the broken tiles and reseal the roof all at my moms expense which has cost another R10 500.00, even though this problem only existed due to their lack of s****s. Because the rain started whilst they were here, they advised that they could not complete the sealing. We are now sitting 3 weeks later without a sealed roof, still cracked tiles on the roofing a geyser that trips the electricity constantly.

The owner Kyle doesn't care much about the sub contractors lack of professionalism and in fact was still yawning when I called him this morning to let him know his sub contractor had yet again not pitched up. I got told to "not take it out on him".

If you want to be messed around and over charged without work being completed, then definitely use this company.
