Following extensive online discussions (me being out of SA for much of the year), in April 2021 I awarded Kobus the project of replacing the build in cupboards and kitchen in my newly bought unit. The agreement was for the project to be completed by the of end June 2021. Kobus completed the project to his standard by end of September 2021, causing great loss in rental income. At first glance the project looked good, but below the surface Kobus’s work was amateurish and the finishing poor, forcing me to pay another to rectify. Promises of Kobus to fix his mistakes came to nothing.
