I first bought the Red-E Aura Comfort Open-Ear Headset at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Ballito, KZN. Unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered that the headset was not working at all. I even tried charging it overnight, thinking perhaps it would work the following day, but unfortunately, I had no luck. The following day, I returned it to the store and, thankfully, I received a refund without any hassle. Since I’m based in Pretoria, I later came across the same Red-E Aura headset at Computer Mania in The Grove Mall. Because I genuinely loved the headset — it was extremely comfortable, very light, and the sound quality was good — I decided to give the brand another chance and purchased another pair. Unfortunately, exactly a month later, the headset started giving me problems. It would only work while connected to the charger. As soon as I removed the charger, it would stop playing completely. I returned it to Computer Mania, and this is where the experience became extremely frustrating. I had to wait almost two months before eventually getting the headset back. Unfortunately, the customer experience I received from Computer Mania was very disappointing. Eventually, however, I was given a new headset. This was on 3 July 2026. Now, just two months later, the replacement headset has suddenly stopped working altogether today. 😔 Honestly, I’m defeated and really heartbroken because I genuinely love these headphones. They are incredibly comfortable, very lightweight, and the sound quality is good. They are exactly the type of headset I enjoy using. But at this point, I honestly don’t have the time or energy to go through another lengthy and frustrating process with the retailer. I also don’t want to keep blaming Computer Mania, because after experiencing the same type of failure more than once, I have to wonder whether this could potentially be a manufacturing or quality-control issue. As much as I love the Red-E Aura Comfort Open-Ear Headset, I’m now seriously considering whether I should stop buying this brand altogether because I simply don’t want to keep experiencing the same disappointment. Omnico, as the manufacturer, I kindly ask you to look into this matter. Perhaps I have unfortunately been affected by a faulty batch or a unit that did not meet the expected quality standards. I really hope you can assist me, because I genuinely like your product and would much rather have confidence in the brand than walk away from it. I’m not looking to blame anyone — I just want a reliable product that lasts. After everything I’ve experienced, I honestly don’t want to be disappointed and frustrated all over again.
