I would please like to know where I stand. I own 2 units in a complex. I live in one and work from the other. I have been working there for 7 years with the permission of the chairperson on condition that I keep an eye out on the complex during the day, which I have been doing. The complex now has a new chairperson and Trustees. They have called a AGM to tell me to close my business. I am a nail technician and I have not broken any of the following: 1. There is no more than 1 person employed which is me. 2. I do not advertise. 3. I do not disturb the residents. 4. There is no safety risk at all. In the house rules it is mentioned that you may not run a business. I work approximately 13 days a month. It is my only source of income. Other residents and owners are breaking house rules but they are only victimising me. What can I do? I please need advise asap. Thank you
