What CAN it do ?
The closing letter states “...cannot support your expectations due to the vehicle that had been taken to a third party for repairs.” My complaint was on the 1st Nov. 2022 and the closing letter arrived on the 26th May 2023. What was I supposed to do for six months (at a distance of 350 km from the repairer) – drive around with oil leaking from the sump ? Also, “The MIOSA has no jurisdiction which requires the determination... of damages...has no mandate to solicit refunds or financial conpensation,” Well then, what the hell CAN it do ? I had clearly been ********** not least by a labour charge three times the usual rate - which MIOSA conveniently ignored. The government should close MIOSA down as the general public is given the false impression that it is an independent arbiter.
