Ombudsman Breaks Down Small Businesses

As a small and very young business, we were suddenly invoiced by MOISA. We did not know who they even are, I had to read up on them. Already we owing them a few thousand rand as then keep invoicing us on a monthly basis. It makes no sense to me why we have to pay a contribution to the Ombudsman, that we may never make use of. Given that we have just about come out of COVID and now have to try to survive the daily impact of load shedding, in an economy that is far from financial strength. In 2014 the Dept of Trade and Industry decided that businesses in the motor industry have no choice but to make a contribution. Where is the support for small businesses?
