No payment after Ombudsman ruling

I bought a Nissan Navara on 4 June 2014 from Paarlweg Motors, collected on Friday 6th June 2014. The next day i found over 40 latent and patent defects on the vehicle which were sent to dealer same day.

They refused to fixed the major defects resulting me approaching the Motor Ombudsman of SA on 21 August 2014.

After months of negotiating the Ombudsman ruled in my favour on 24 November 2015. The dealer was ordered to refund all my costs of repairing the vehicle, around R40 000 by 7 January2016.

Till today, no payment has been made and my efforts to contact the Ombudsman and his office is ignored.

I just need to know what the effect of an Ombudsman ruling is and the legality of such ruling.

My question is how can we have an Ombudsman who's ruling is ignored by dishonest dealers?

What is my next point of contact if the Ombudsman can't assist me to get my refund from this dealer?

I'm awaiting your reply.

Thanking you
