MIOSA Wasting consumer funds
Because they are funded by all factions of the motor industry, what's the chances of any cases being won against any of the industry participants? Bought a car from TopGear RV Centre Cape Town, had endless problems with the car, took it back 8 times while under dealership warranty and they kept the car for approximately 2 weeks evert time making sure the warranty period ran out, then after 7 000km engin ceased and refereed it to MIOSA as dealership refused to fix engin. It's 6 months down the line and case still 'pending' with MIOSA. They cannot give me an estimated timeline, how far in the process my complaint is or where I am in the 'que' they constantly refer to. I cannot speak to the Case Manager that was referred to my case, I can only speak to the assistant and the assistant will inform the Case manager, who will respond to the assistant and the assistant will inform me what the Case Manager said when I call again as they do not provide updates, I need to call in for an update every 2 weeks...so many things wrong with their processes but who cares, they are funded by you and I so they will never go bankrupt...
