MIOSA glove in hand with car dealerships.

I'm writing this in the hope that someone might read and advise. I bought a car from Cargi motors Rustenburg in August of 2021. 3 months down the line I started experiencing problems with the car, in fact the first day I took ownership, I had to fix the tire which had n slow puncture. The problems kept popping up and I contacted the dealership who told me that it's my problem since I didn't take out the extended warranty. I contacted the motor industry ombudsman of South Africa who then rep**** with an email and copied the dealership about two months ago.. As per the email, the dealership was supposed to respond within 10 days or face a fine but the dealership ignored this and I contacted the ombudsman again but my email was ignored. I just wanted to find out if there might be a higher institution than the ombudsman who can assist. It seems like the dealerships are allowed to knowingly sell defective vehicles to the general public because they have the backing of the ombudsman. Just to add, I paid R176 000 of my hard earned cash to the dealership, trusting that they are selling me a good car. I'm very disappointed.
