Fat cats stay fat for a reason

I live in Richards Bay and have come across two mechanics that are blatantly dishonest and according to me should not be allowed to operate and take peoples hard working money. I was under the impression that, that is why the Ombutsman is there. To assist when the public have no where else to go. The first time I was informed that they could not assist due to the fact that I had already obtained assistance from another mechanic. The second time I was asked if it was private (not sure what that means), I informed them that it is a company that works from a workshop. Once again I was informed that they could not assist. It was suggested that I contact DTI in order to validate registration of this company. It just seems like people are getting paid for doing WHAT exactly??????? Surly after supplying the name of the company, they should be able to assist. It seems as if they only assist large companies. I could have used my money to help people that really need it in stead of making the fat cats fatter.
