I recently got contacted by an agent from MIOSA explaining to me that is the law to join MIOSA and acknowledging and accepting that it may be good to join I signed up in the middle of August 2020. Then yesterday the 08 of October I get emailed a bill from them back dating 2 years plus current. I was angered and frustrated at the stunts they would try in order to gain money from you. Here's my issue.....if I have used their services 2 years ago plus current then bill me. But don't bring it to my attention by specifying its a law especially if I wasn't totally aware of this, let me sign up and then try to take my money from me. Its hard enough keeping our heads above water having to deal with this Covid 19 Pandemic and work not event constant as it should be. I also inform the lady that I just moved from working from my home into a workshop which means setting up expenses. Workshop rent etc. How can 1 run a business if you have to deal with an organisation like MIOSA which is supposed to be helping Automotive Business implement a peace of mind stragedy to our clients. Instead they end up harrasing you and threatening you to take legal action if you don't pay. Since when is it fair to pay for something you did not get or even use. Good Grief then the accounts people are still disrespectful with you on the phone line adamant that they will hand over your account.
