A total waste of time.

My vehicle has now been at a supplier for a year and a half. The case has been with the ombudsman for longer than 6 months. Please do not waste your time. I have since gine to an attorney and was told that they cannot help unless I cancel the ombudsman first because of double jeopardy. I plan to cancel them now and again follow the attorney route to get a court order to get my car released. The police is also not able to help. Do yourself a favour and keep far away from these people (if they exist) and go directly to a laywer.
