Hellopeter, I come to you again with a complaint about a legal firm (Omar Attorneys in Springs,7th street, to be precise)that has been ********* for me in my matter to the CCMA against my employer (Sassa). I enlisted their legal services in November 2019. They changed me a fee of R20 000. The matter was scheduled for a sitting in Ermelo on 19 December 2019, for conciliation and postponed to February 2020 for arbitration but could have a sitting in August 2020, upon which it was postponed on account of failure to appear on the side of the attorney's firm, citing ill health. We were given a final date for November 2020 upon which the employer did not attend with no reason given to the commissioner. He (Commissioner) advised the advocate to make an application for arbitration for the next sitting. It was the last I have heard from the legal firm, in spite of a litany of emails to them. I even attempted to call them on Mrs. Omar's phone number: ***, upon which they responded very rude, have been constantly ignored since then. All emails are in vain. According to the CCMA, my matter had eventually been closed. It's been more than six months now. Please help me.
