****s ****s and more ****s allowed....

<p>I decided to advertise my double door fridge/freezer and a washing machine and was ****med like the millions on online trading for R12500. Even though OLX is a trading platform, I believe OLX and other similar sites can improve their services on offer. It is no good having a FAQ’s page with all the warnings. Honestly, how many people read those pages. How about pop-ups during the transaction whether loading to sell or viewing to buy, showing these warning signs and also having some form of intermediary service that handles these transactions and verifications such that both the seller and buyer is protected. There are systems out there that are proven to work, I am not asking they re-invent the wheel, just implement something existing. They should think about their clients as well if they want to succeed as a sustainable business. I mean, the number of innocent people who are ****med in the country that is no. 1 in Africa for ****s and *****s, should be enough of a business case to do more on such websites. I intend to publish this on every avenue for public knowledge. what is the purpose of a legal department at OLX if nothing can be done to prevent such ****s.</p> <p> </p>
