****med by a buyer

I submitted an ad on olx today selling an iphone as well as ps4 controller, not too long afterwards i received a few calls from "interested" parties. A person by the name of Wanda Joseph Mahlane called telling me he is interested in buying the items for his son and asked me for my banking details, once i provided him with those details he claimed that he made a payment into my account and that he would request a taxify driver to collect the items, i also received two sms's from two different numbers confirming payment however the query numbers did not match. I refused outrightly to give the driver any items and then i received two emails from absa confirming payment and i gave the driver the items. After checking the email again i realised the pop was a **** it included the date as 09/05/2018 and i called the driver to bring back the items. I had to pay the driver for the costs involved. I tried calling the guy again but he blocked my number. I want you guys to know that even though there are many ****s for sold items there are many buyers who are looking to **** people thats in desperate need of money. Olx is not the way to go as we will be ****med either way.
