OLX not good for Property Advertising, agents will not perform well with OLX
I am an estate agent and it so happen that i advertise property. Then just one day boom I cannot advertise anymore if i do not pay a R40. Yes it's a small fee. I enquire why and am told to avoid ***** after 4 ads i have to pay. M good with that but for goodness sakes I happened to be busy with one property, editing and re-advertising it, next thing i have reached my 4 ads limit and i have to wait for 3 months before the next ads. Now what happens if i advertise all 4 properties on OLX and they are all taken within one month. Should I wait for the next 3 months before I continue my work?

We have introduced a listing fee to reduce ***** and increase listing quality. This new rule will stop users that are continuously posting and reposting their ads for visibility.
In return, our customer base would have better visibility for longer, offering a more effective experience for people looking for a property.

These fees are applicable for all locations in the following Property subcategories: Houses & Flats for rent, rooms for rent & Shared, and Houses & Flats for sale.
You can post a limited number of free ads on OLX in 60 days. In the Real Estate category (excluding you are allowed to post 4 ads for free. In the case that you want to post more ads, you would have to pay for additional Listings.
