New website is colossal failure!

<p>I have been using OLX at least once a week to sell old unwanted goods or hunt for bargains as time allows. It has always been a pleasure to work with the site. Adverts received decent exposure and browsing was effortless and convenient. </p> <p> </p> <p>This new site is a MASSIVE step backwards in all regards. </p> <p>Browsing is now near unmanageable, adverts are arranged according to distance and not newest advert first. This makes browsing extremely inconvenient as you are forced to filter through masses of outdated adverts. This is particularly annoying if you have not found what you are looking for in your first search, because then you have to go through the whole process again when checking for new items later on. In short, arranging items according to distance does not work in practice... many users are more than happy to drive 100km + for a good deal but no one wants to see more outdated ads than relevant ones when browsing. This inefficient method leads to significantly lower views for fresh adverts and more views for items that have been sold long ago but never removed from the site. </p> <p> </p> <p>When logging in you need to have a pin sent to your phone every time which is a waste of energy. Why ditch the simple account password login?? </p> <p>When you eventually get logged in, placing an advert takes a lot more work that before and half my ads remain "pending" forever even though I received an email stating that the advert is live. Advert is not visible on the site. Advert placement function does not work properly...</p> <p> </p> <p>OLX claims that the new site will result in lower levels of *****, how so? By making the site to inconvenient for anyone to use resulting in less exposure for ********** activities? ******** use the exact same authentication process as before. The only difference is that they don't mind sending a new code every time they want to log in because they would have done so with every new number anyway.</p> <p>Even facebook login is by no means fool proof for uncovering *****. **** profiles are common and privacy settings makes it difficult to discern. </p> <p> </p> <p>I understand that making a site work according to everyones preference is very difficult but you went from a site that met demands of everyone that I know to a site that is destroying your reputation and will undoubtedly cost you a large portion of users should you continue with this dismal failure. </p> <p> </p> <p>Your ratings have plummeted since implementing the new site, this cannot be a sign of happy users?? Clearly loads of users are unhappy so I have taken the time to elaborate on major issues in the hopes that the message will reach the right person. Please, for the sake of loyal users, fix the site before we have to permanently move else ware for classifieds. </p>
