sold a death trap

I purchased 2 vehicles with you guys this far and i dont think that it was not such a good decision.The 2nd vehicle i purchased was a 2nd hand VW Passat.Seems like the biggest mistake of my life.I should have kept my new polo instead of trading it in.The salesman was extremely pushy with this sale saying that i couldnt qualify for another car even though the other cars were cheaper.I now understand why.The car obviously not being sold and he found a sucker to sell it to.I took the car into VW yesterday as it was due for a service.I was totally astonished when i got a call from the service technician stating that he has R40000 work that needs to be done on the car. I was also told that the car is NOT safe for me to drive and that i shouldn't drive it until the work is done.I purchased this car 4my family after i had a baby. Now the dealership is telling me that i am basically risking my childs life everytime i drive this car.The gearbox and brakes issue was NOT explained to me when the vehicle was purchased-this was an extremely important detail that was conveniently left out for obvious reasons.The car is a month out of the CPAand if i didnt reach the 105000km i wouldnt of known.
