Empty promises

I referred a friend of mine to purchase a car, she contacted them and made an arrangement to forward the documents to them , so as to process the deal, two days down the line I received a call from the lady by the name of \Elizabeth""; so as to finalist the did; Elizabeth urged me to contact my friend; and she told me that once the deal has been approved; I will then get R4000 as a commission; <br> <br> The car was collected; my friend confirmed that she has collected the car; and she advised me to contact the dealership; I left plenty messages with the switchboard; as I was told that Elizabeth will return my call; till today I haven't heard from Elizabeth; what irritates me most is that I did not know about the commission thing; she is the one who told me about it; so my question is: did she tell me about it as she wanted me to assist her to get this deal or what ?<br> <br> An email was sent by my friend; following up about the commission;no response till today<br> <br> What kind of business is this dealership running?"""
