Claim - No answers and poor service

We lodged a claim for my son's vehicle, (accident which was not his fault, and the 3rd party's details were submitted). He took the vehicle to the inspection centre, after which we heard nothing back. <br> We were phoned and asked where the vehicle was as it needed to be collected, and were then informed that it had been written off!! Reason: The quote exceeds the market value of the car (ONE quote from Auction Nation, a salvage company??) I then requested if we could obtain more quotes, and was told that we could not! I was also told that we are not allowed to \buy the car back"from the insurance and have it repaired ourselves.<br> I know for a fact that clients of Virgin Insurance have been afforded the opportunity to obtain up to 3 quotes. The vehicle is not that badly damaged"
