Collection with Care, Confidence and Trust

<p>I was one of the very first mom's that started using the services of Old School Cool Cabs ("OSC") about 5 years ago when my kids were 5 and 3 years old. The company was in its infancy stage and if my memory serves me correctly they had about 5 lady drivers. Obviously I wanted to ensure that I was making the right decision and I went to visit their offices and interview the staff and scrutinize the set up. The company was young but I was impressed, back then, by the attention to detail around preparing the drivers for safety by providing annual advanced driving lessons, first aid training, hiring only lady drivers with >10 years driving experience, camera's in the car, office tracking system, sms service for both collection and drop off, selection of booster seats to choose from, strict rules on age restriction for kids sitting in the passenger seat, limit to the number of kids in the car at any given time. What also impressed me was the vehicle that they had chosen to lift the kids in. Back then it was a Renault Sandero that was accredited with the European EuroNCAP safety grading so I may have been paying a premium but for extra safety. </p> <p>Five or so years on and I am still very much a loyal and satisfied customer. I am pedantic around my children knowing the names and faces of the drivers that collect them and OSC have always worked very well alongside me catering to my needs on this issue. </p> <p>I remember an incident where I had not informed them that a particular collection didn't need to happen and when they arrived at the pick-up they couldn't find my child. I was in meetings and had not picked up my messages only to find out that they had tried every avenue to get hold of me, many calls to my number, emails, office calls. I felt terrible for the anxiety that I had caused them but incredibly comforted at the same time by their commitment to ensuring that my child was safe and that they had on-boarded a similar panic that any parent would go through. </p> <p>Yes to be balanced in my feedback, as the company has grown sometimes the lifts can run a little late due to traffic or the logistics of planning collection routes between different schools and it can get quite complex, but I mostly receive notification if running a little late and my kids are older now and they are not phased if a few minutes late here and there. However when my eldest was in Grade 1 several years ago he didn't transition from Grade 0 to Grade 1 well and he needed to be collected absolutely on time after school had finished. I informed OSC of the situation and arranged for the pickup to be scheduled 5 minutes before school closed such that the driver was waiting in the playground. I never had an issue because they took my son's concern to heart.</p> <p>The company has grown successfully and they now employ over 30 or so lady drivers but I still receive the dedicated attention that I received when they were 5 or so drivers. They won the 2016 Radio 702 Small Business Awards for a reason because of their committement to the care and safety of the children and also because of the way they treat their staff with compassion and care. I have only experienced lovely lady drivers and the true testament is how my kids feel about the drivers.... they are happy and feel safe and that is what is important to me.</p> <p>I would highly recommend the services of Old School Cool Cabs.</p> <p>Thank you Tiffini, Lisa and the whole team for making my life that much more manageable and very importantly transporting my greatest treasures safely back home each time.</p> <p> </p>
