You may not get your loan processed because of your work number!

I app**** for a loan with Old Mutual but their application process is terrible. The agent assisting me was very helpful however the department that does applications needs to sort themselves out.

I was denied for a loan, not because I had a low credit score, blacklisted, or any of that other stuff. I was denied because the work phone number couldn't be traced to the registered company. Like what the hell? That is PATHETIC.

They asked for a payslip, and bank account information as we will as our company registration number [WHICH MATCHES TOGETHER] but they couldn't proceed because the freaken phone number doesn't match the company registered!!? Why not take into consideration that registered companies may have a trading name and that's where maybe the details may be? Also numbers change all the time, how is a phone number carrying so much weight in my application more than the actual fact that you can confirm all my details?

Poor system.
