When I was opening this funeral policy it was initially for my son and me, your consultant from Old Mutual advised me that I can add my father’s child even if we are not married. Information was not given to me as to should i claim they will need a marriage certificate or we should be living together, because had that information been communicated with me I wouldn’t have included him I would’ve opted for a policy that would suit us all because at that time we were not married nor living together. I do not understand why all of a sudden all these documents are required because they were not communicated to me prior to me joining Old Mutual . So now that I need to make a claim all this information surfaces. I don’t know what to do anymore because it feels like I was taken for a ride.
