Unsolicited marketing

Dear Old Mutual/iWyze Team, I am writing to formally express my extreme displeasure and frustration with the ongoing and relentless marketing communications I continue to receive from your company. In my entire existence, I have never taken up a policy with Old Mutual/iWyze, nor have I ever inquired about any of your products or services. Yet, I am bombarded weekly with unsolicited phone calls, SMSs, and emails promoting products that I never signed up for and never requested.

I am utterly baffled by how you obtained my contact information, particularly my email address, which I have never provided to your company. Your actions constitute a gross intrusion into my privacy and are completely unacceptable.

Let me be abundantly clear: 1. I have never given Old Mutual/iWyze consent to send me any marketing communication via phone, SMS, or email. 2. I have never had a policy, product, or service with Old Mutual/iWyze, and I have no intention of doing so now or in the future. 3. Your repeated marketing attempts are harassment and are causing undue stress and inconvenience. 4. The continued unsolicited contact is a violation of my rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), which grants me the right to refuse unsolicited marketing communications. 5. This behavior is *******, intrusive, and a serious breach of trust and privacy. 6. I hereby explicitly demand that you immediately remove all my contact details from your databases and marketing lists. 7. You are to cease all phone calls, SMSs, and emails to me with immediate effect. 8. Any further communication from your company after this warning will be considered a deliberate act of harassment and intrusion. 9. I am fully prepared to escalate this matter to the relevant regulatory authorities, including lodging formal complaints with the Information Regulator, should this behavior continue. 10.I demand immediate removal of my contact information and that has to be permanently removed and that no further communications will be sent.

Let this message serve as a final and formal warning. Failure to comply immediately will leave me with no option but to pursue legal remedies, including claims for harassment, infringement of privacy, and violations of POPIA.

Old Mutual/iWyze must understand that I am not, and will never be, part of your target market. Your insistence on sending me marketing communications demonstrates not only negligence but also a disregard for the law, ethical business practices, and basic human decency.

I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it warrants. I expect your confirmation of compliance without delay.
