Unpayed funeral cover

My brother passed away on 31 Oct 2025. His workplace had covered him with Old Mutual. The company submitted all documents. We payed for the funeral as Old Mutual was taking long. We told them that we had borrowed money to pay for the funeral and the guy I charge of the case told us to email him proof witch I did. He, himself told us that Old Mutual will reimburse us the money back. It's 5 months later and we have not received the reimbur*****t.

My question is, if we had not borrowed money which we are still paying to this day. That means my brother would still not be buried, according to what the company is doing?
