Unauthorized debitorders

Ive been sending mails to the complaints department without any feedback. I spoke to a broker regarding a policy in novemeber. In november already he wanted to do a debicheck but i said wait till January because i want the policy only deducting in Jan. He went beyond me and go and create 3 debichecks 2 of 100 and 1 of 749. i phoned the bank and they confirm Old Mutual can except debichecks. In november there was a deduction which was not authorised. absa then suspended my debitorder and the broker went an do a debitorder for this month which i cancelled the 5th of jan.

To whom it may concderne

In November I spoke to a broker and was thinking about taking a policy. He explain to me everything and we agreed if I want the policy, a 1000ran ,eed will be deducted.

I also raise my concerne that I want the debicheck to be done middle January as we have many problems with the bank deducting and it was December and I have lots of things to be planned with my money

This broker did not listen and go do his own things, even if I say I have big concerns with the debicheck so early.

He went beyond me and go do debichecks which I did not approve. I told him im not going to approve it only in January.

End of November there was 2 debichecks already approved. The 27th of November and end of November.

I was so furious and contact the bank and they notify me if a client takes too long to accept, Old Mutual can do it on behalf. How the hell.

Absa suspend both debichecks and said all is good.

Now in January 1000rand is inform of a debit order from old Mutual, which I did not authorized, because I contact the broker to c Apologies for that

More Bevin. Ek en henkie was by die bank Om uit te vind. Da was glad 2 debichecks wat julle gedoen het. Altwee intree datum November en Ek het mooi gese January. Hulle by die bank Se julle Kan debichecks ook accept as ons te lank vat so dit was accept aan jou kant. Ek en henkie het ma besluit I'm dit te cancell vi Nou. Gaan dit maar deur Sy werk doen.

And he went so far to go make a debit order for R1000.

Laat Weet as jy dit gecamcell het. Ek Al 5 January vi jou die oodrag gegee

It’s a no go for Old Mutual for me.
