Unauthorised old mutal deductions- ***** case ignored

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Old Mutual’s handling of my complaint regarding unauthorised deductions from my salary.

For the past three months, Old Mutual has been deducting money from my Persal salary for a policy that I never took out or authorised.

I have contacted Old Mutual multiple times regarding these deductions and even went to a branch in person to lodge a formal complaint. On 22 July 2026, I opened a ***** case and was advised that it would take approximately 10 days to be resolved.

It has now been well beyond the promised timeframe, and I have received no meaningful update or resolution. What makes the situation even more unacceptable is that Old Mutual has deducted money from my salary again this month, despite the fact that I have already reported the policy as *****ulent.

I want Old Mutual to urgently:

1. Investigate how this policy was opened in my name without my authorisation. 2. Stop all further deductions immediately. 3. Refund all unauthorised deductions taken from my salary over the past three months. 4. Provide me with a clear update on the ***** investigation opened on 22 July. 5. Explain why deductions have continued despite my formal complaint.

This is extremely concerning because these deductions are being taken directly from my salary, and I should not have to repeatedly fight to stop payments for a policy I never requested.

I expect Old Mutual to take accountability and resolve this matter urgently.
