Unauthorised debit order from Old Mutual

My grandma passed away and I was able to submit a claim to get my premiums back. So OM decided to debit my account a few hours after the premiums were paid out.

My debit order date was always set for the 11th and coincidentally this time they debited on the 1st. After multiple escalations, only be told by Jadine Ruiters that I have to wait 30 days for my unauthorised debit.

How do I wait 30 days for a debit order that went off on a date that I didn’t authorise, after premiums were paid out. Then she still says that their managers don’t take calls.

I’m livid and regret dealing with Old Mutual. That they can leave such a bitter taste
