Unable to wuthdraw my own money

I made a lumpsum investment with old mutual last year September 2023. Apparently the financial advisor took it to their own hands and decided to make a max investment instead of a tax free investment and I clearly stated with her that I am making the investment so that I can be able to withdraw from time to time when in need of money. Now I am being told I can not access the money in my investment until September 2028 like what the f*** is that? I didn’t sign up for that. Now I have to get a financial strain for the next coming four years because of poor service from the advisors of Old mutual. How can you put a restriction on money that you were told “it will be withdrawn from time to time” I really wish to cancel my investment with them it is definitely not what I signed up for. How can I not have access to my money? Advisors busy telling me to take a loan that I have to pay off again like its just poor service delivery
