Treated like a leper

<p>Tried to get life insurance from this lot but because i have diabetes old mutual decided to treat me like a leper. They insist on hundrds of medical exams and hundreds of forms are to be filled out. I complained about it and after that they havent bothered to contact me again.</p> <p>Having diabetes does not mean that I'm filth, shocking, dismal service and the arrogant attitude is the best</p>

Received a mail from an Old Mutual "client care" rep who gave me the usual nonsense that it wasn't their fault and that they have done nothing wrong. I responded that it was unacceptable and as to be expected from this lot I was simply ignored!!! ITS A WEEK LATER AND NO ANSWER, business must be good for this crowd as customer service is non existent, very, very disappointed!!!

I refer to your communications with the Area Manager and their recent email. As previously mentioned the requested medicals are required by our underwriters. The policy application will be considered on receipt of these medicals.

As can be seen the response is unacceptable, I have referred this further in their company and as to be expected havent heard a word. I have subsequently got a policy with outsurance, so they have lost out
