They wont re-instate my policy after 8 months or not even willing to transfer funds to a new policy!

<p>Unlike discovery - old mutual is not willing to re-instate my retirement annuity fund. I was supposed to re-instate it after six months but have forgotten about it. 9 months later (3 months over the period) I realised my mistake and wanted to re-instate my policy. (I havent even received a reminder that my policy is going to expire if I dont pay it.) They informed me that its an old policy (Investment Horizons - ********** 7) and that I simply cannot re-instate the policy NOR even transfer the funds to a new retirement policy? I was willing to pay all the outstanding amounts including cost for this policy but to no avail. Discovery was willing to help me immediately. Im really dissapointed. The money in that policy wont grow now and will be worth nothing when I retire.</p>
