They must be joking!

Took out a policy with Old Mutual in July last year after their agents came to market it at my workplace. They debit a premium of R250 every month, I can withdraw at any time and it takes 3 working days to get your money, only condition R500 must be left in your account when withdrawing. 1st debit was in August 2014 so I have now contributed R3000 in total. I have never received the policy documents by post as they have promised, even though I notified them telephonically and was still promised I would get it. 2 weeks ago I wanted to make a withdrawal, was told I'm only eligible to get R1900. I opted to cancel the policy as this is way less then I expected. Told if I cancel I will get R1900 still. Got a payout of R1700 yesterday after cancelling. Do you want to tell me for saving R3000 in 12 months, I only get R1700? Even if I was putting my money under the matress, I would have my full R3000. I thought Old Mutual was legit but this is ****************. Is this why they never bothered to post me the policy documents? This is crazy, I want my money. Who takes out a savings plan to loose money? Is this a joke or what? Well its definitely not funny. I want my money.
