The most pathetic service out there

It's a pity that you are forced to give Old Mutual an one star rating, because in my book they do not deserve to get any. Old Mutual is one of the shrewdest companies out there. Their systems to register/open a tax free savings account online works well, but once they have your money it is almost impossible to cancel the transaction and subsequently get your money refunded to you. Coupled to this their extremely poor customer care service makes it the most unpleasant experience ever to get them to refund your money. I have battled for almost two months with them and this is after I was promised that after a cooling off period of 15 working days I'll have my money back. The 15 working days are long gone and still no refund of all my money. I was even promised by a Customer care consultant that he'll keep me up to date every step of the way pertaining to the cancellation process. Not once did he contact me or send me an email. This speaks directly to the fact that he nor Old Mutual has integrity. If I can give people wishing to open a tax free savings account good advice then it is not to let Old Mutual administer your hard earned cash because they really suck at it, big time.
