Terrible service
Writer is a practising attorney and has been a client of Old Mutual for many years. On 16 August 2023 writer cancelled certain products on his life insurance policy. Notwithstanding the aforesaid cancellation Old Mutual debited my account with the full amount. Old Mutual have been promising to repay the refund due to writer after 1 September but despite numerous e-mails payment of my refund is not forthcoming. After this bad experience I wish I had never done business with Old Mutual. I am utterly disgusted in the way I am being treated! Daniel Francois Du Toit

03 Oct 2023, 19:21Your apologies have have been heard ad nauseam and are devoid of any further meaning. The problem of repaying writer his refund is still conveniently being avoided by Old Mutual. Why am I not being repaid???? The public is sick and tired of big corporations such as yourselves taking us , the public , your clients , your companies life blood , for granted. Why is it necessary to for writer to go to these extreme lengths just to get Old Mutual to treat their clients with fairness!!!Old Mutual expects their clients to punctually pay their premium monthly but when a refund is due to a client Old Mutual keeps the clients money!!!This is a total disgrace
