Terrible return and terrible customer service

<p>I unfortunately took out a tax free savings product from Old Mutual. </p> <p>I paid in my 1 st lump sum of R30000 in 2015. The second instalment was to be taken at the end of Feb 2016 and i even called in to make sure the debit order was going to happen which OM confirmed. I transferred money from savings into my current account ready for the debit order.</p> <p>The debit order never happened and I never heard anything more. Awful service!!So I'm trying to cancel the policy now because of the terrible service and now of course i find out i need to jump through numerous hoops to get money out...ps on an investment of R30 000 invested for almost two years i get just a little over R300 interest, A RETURN OF 1%!!!!...i could invest that money elsewhere and EVEN WITH THE TAX hit on interest i would still make more!!!</p>
