Superfund/Old Mutual Dismally ***********
I resigned from Old Mutual in January 2021,They give a timeline of 6 weeks to payout a superfund claim.Today I decided to go into a branch since no one answers emails and provides updates/correspondence,The call centre is non existent they dont offer much help.Apparently I am still on Payroll according to superfund and according to HR Payroll on ex employee as of the 16th of February.I would just like my superfund to be paid out in timely manner as my contributions were.I know understand client's frustration with Old Mutual Superfund.

02 Apr 2021, 23:23Im glad Old Mutual came back to me regarding their back office mishap to say the least whether Im still an employee on payroll or not,I received an email from lady called Cindy Williams confirming I have only been struck off the payroll as of March bear in mind I had resigned in January 2021(their incompetence never ceases to amaze me),The superfund services agents (thats when you are able to get through) always give genric/conflicting answers like" the process will take 2 weeks" or " a month" or seem unwillingly to help, Just getting an update on withdrawal claim status is like pulling teeth,They still haven't asked me for supporting documents which tells me the claim is still very far from being paid.The lack of empathy considering we in a pandemic that requires every cent when one can get is shocking.Imagine if they do this to an ex-employee I can only imagine what external superfund members go through,I wouldn't recommend Old Mutual to anyone.
