Superfund claim excuses and excuses just to not pay.

After the company that I was working for experienced financial distress, before it can close down, my HR department made sure that they submitted our withdrawal to Old Mutual in time. I remember it was Wednesday when my HR told us that we can call to claim. Some of my colleagues started calling and the money was paid before the end of the week.

But because I didn't have airtime to call, I wanted to go to the branch to get helf on Saturday, but when I got there, I told me that the department that I needed to call does not work on weekends so I will have to call on Monday.

I remember that Monday was the 2nd of September. When I called, they told me that my HR did not submit my withdrawal, I called my HR and explained. He then told me to make a conference call with him and Old Mutual admin. I did and he explained that he submitted everything for everyone at once.

Still even if he made them realise their mistake, they came up with a new excuses that I must wait for the 16th of September as they are still busy with 2 pot. I waited for the 16th and called, they told me to wait for the 23rd. When I called on the 3rd, they went back to my HR didn't submit my withdrawal.

I explained that I even made a conference call, after that they told me that My company did not submit June funds for me. How because other people got their money. Every time when I call is a new story, from June funds to we are waiting for your company to confirm your exit. I explained, my company closed down, I doesn't exist anymore.

Then they told me that they are waiting for liquidation process to be over. It's been months now, every day when I call is a new story. Other colleagues who did not get paid are getting paid now but I'm still waiting. I spend too much money that I don't have trying to get my money that old mutual doesn't want with.
