Stay away from Old Mutual with you investments.
I've been facilitating Investment Transfers for a few years now, and this is by far the worst company to work with. I urge any client to make sure of the service levels they could expect before deciding to invest with them.
First it took me weeks to retrieve the correct documents needed to present to the client, and more than 3 statements with the incorrect values shown where I had to send it back to Old Mutual.
Now to top it off, after 5 months of struggling to get to the final stages, they tell us that they can't facilitate two transfers at the same time. This is a complete lie, and I'm not sure why they would make such a ridiculous statement other than somebody just being lazy.

04 Sept 2024, 12:37Update on this review- In two weeks nothing has happened, they came back stating they can't help me until the first transfer is finalized. This probably isn't that big of a problem if they get it done within the SLA, but they have had the required documents since 15/08 and haven't rep**** with a single update.
After this one is done we have to go through the same torture again...

Update on this review- In two weeks nothing has happened, they came back stating they can't help me until the first transfer is finalized. This matter has definitely not been resolved, the client's second transfer (investment ***5) has been dragging since July. The last documents required from our side was sent middle September, and nothing has happened since then.
Do I really have to write a 3rd review on the same client's transfers to get you guys to stop thinking it has been resolved?

3 months later, still not a single step further, they kept on requesting documents that was sent the first time, and now they keep on delaying sending through the Form H.
What an absolute mess. I'm never suggesting Old Mutual to any of my clients, their service and the lack of any help at all messes up your day each time you have to try and ask for feedback.
