STAY AWAY from OLD MUTUAL - Pathetic service from ******* who refuse to pay out!

My Dad passed away last year, the paperwork was an absolute nightmare but we managed to carefully submit it all in a timely manner. It took them 7 months to process and eventually they paid, but not in FULL. Upon further investigation by one of their staff - it was revealed that the outstanding amount had been conveniently reversed by them - HOW?! and WHY? - Sounds like they pocketed it and now want to play the delaying game. After that, they went silent and out of the blue, their ******* call center agents kept feeding us lies and different stories of what had actually happened to that payment. Its almost a year now and they have still NOT paid that amount. I'm sick and tired of sending the same email and calling their pathetic customer service - a bunch of glorified ******* who pry you for confidential information. I would never consider taking anything out with Old Mutual after this ordeal. They're very quick to take off stop orders but when its time to pay they make sure they f*** you around in every manner possible. Be aware and stay far away from this company - they simply cannot be trusted with your hard earned money. One star is even too much for the level of service and nightmare that I'm experiencing.
