SHOCKING EXPERIENCE FROM OLD MUTUAL CLAIMS CONTACT CENTRE

I submitted my claim on the 24th April, to date the claim has not been processed. Last week I found out that there were outstanding bank statements on that claim even though I had been calling old mutual almost every week since the claim was submitted.

I then spoke to Daniel Samson (Manager) on the 25th of May after sending them, he was less interested and just told me that the normal turnaround will apply even t from the 25th May since they received my bank statement on that day. The fact that my claim was submitted earlier will not be considered even though old mutual had not contacted me to inform me of the outstanding documents.

Further, to this every time I called, I was told the claim was processed and they will be in touch with me.

I again called the contact center today and to date nothing has happened to that claim. I don't even know how many times this call has been escalated.

I am even scared to call the contact center as the agent I spoke to last week was so rude. Her name is Maderrin Smith, she even refused to give her senior manager details, and said the is no escalation process in the contact center.

I thought Old mutual was a well respected, well run insurance company but to my surprise the service I am getting leaves a lot to be desired.

STAY AWAY FROM OLD MUTUAL , THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THIER CUSTOMERS. The service is disgusting and **********. I cant believe in 2023 there is still a companies with such bad service. That contact centre must be close; its useless
