Sending me in circles and useless web interface

I own a old mutual tax free investment unit trust which I opened online as self managed, was very easy and simple. The portal had a option for me to open up similar tax free investment plans (unit trust) for my kids which I did.

The problem I now have is that I cant view their profile or make any additional deposits into it. I cant register them under my phone number or another phone number. The call centre has been sending me around in circles for the last week trying to sort this out. Unit trusts sends me to investments, investments sends to me IT, then self service, then back to unit trusts, this is a waste of my time.

Can the right person sort this out and call me. I want to be able to view their policies on the online portal and want to be able to make additional payments into it via the portal... not via paper :-(

Dear Ahmed

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Each contract owner needs to register his/her own profile with his/her own cell phone number. We realise this security feature creates a problem when parents invest money on their children's name. Currently parents cannot link their cell phone with your children's profile.

We are also enhancing the online functionality and started with new investments. I will investigate if Lump Sum Injections can be done online as well and provide feedback to you directly.

Dear Ahmed

Yes you should be able to register your children. I have asked our Secure Services Team to make contact with you in order to assist in registering your children.
