I am writing to formally lodge a complaint and request urgent assistance regarding the payout of my policy with your organization.

In 2023, I opened a policy with Tax Free Group, and monthly premiums were debited from my ABSA bank account. After six months, I visited the nearest branch to request a copy of my contract and to make arrangements for the premium to be deducted directly from my salary through our payroll.

However, three months later, I was informed that my policy had been cancelled due to non-payment over a three-month period. I subsequently went to the branch to withdraw the amount I had contributed and requested to cancel the policy entirely.

Despite this, I later discovered that deductions continued from my salary via the payroll from October 2023 to March 2024, amounting to R800. When I inquired about this, I was told that the amount was linked to the group scheme list, that' why, the policy with tax free was cancelled because it only deal with direct debit order not with the employer, only the group scheme dealing with the deduction from the employer and so, no clear resolution or refund has been provided to date.

I have lodged complaints since last year and made multiple follow-ups, but unfortunately, I have not received any satisfactory response or reimbur*****t.
