Retirement without our knowledge

Good day, my name is Nokuthula Dlamini the mother of Noxolo Dlamini who is daughter of the late Mr Sibongiseni Emmanuel Dludla who past on the 08 April 2021, My father had a policy with old mutual (retirement) where he named me and my siblings as beneficiaries ( Noxolo Dlamini, Anele Majola and Ntombenhle Majola), We were told to come with Miss Nonhlanhla Octavia Dludla who is the sister of the deceased. When we went there yesterday at Galleria branch Amanzimtoti they told us that the money was paid out on the 01-05-2021, when we asked them to whom they paid the to they said they don’t have records so now we not sure what to do because we did not claim the retirement, the money that was claimed it was for the funeral claimed by Thuleleni Pretty Majola as a beneficiary for his funeral cover which was +-R55000. We need answers who clamed the money and when and how can they pay the money to someone else not to beneficiaries?
